Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was developed by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. The blogs are hosted by Google and generally accessed from a subdomain of blogspot.com. Blogs can also be served from a custom domain owned by the user (like www.example.com) by using DNS facilities to direct a domain to Google's servers. A user can have up to 100 blogs per account.
Up until May 1, 2010, Blogger also allowed users to publish blogs to their own web hosting server, via FTP. All such blogs had to be changed to either use a blogspot.com subdomain, or point their own domain to Google's servers through DNS.
Today, I mainly introduce to you how to create a blog quickly and freely within 3 minutes. You don't need to spend a penny to buy a server and buy a domain name. Use Google's free blog service Blogger to create a blog. Even if you are a newcomer who doesn't understand website knowledge and web design, this article will also allow you to quickly create a blog of your own.
Blogger introduction
Up until May 1, 2010, Blogger also allowed users to publish blogs to their own web hosting server, via FTP. All such blogs had to be changed to either use a blogspot.com subdomain, or point their own domain to Google's servers through DNS.
So, all you need is a Google account. And apply for a Google account and its simplicity, if you don't have a Google account yet, you can check out my previous article:
Now everything is ready. The following will be divided into multiple steps for everyone to explain how to create a blog. If you don't like the steps for pictures and text, you can check out my video directly. I have already detailed how to create a blog in my YouTube video.
Create a blog for free with the Blogger service
Visit blogger
We visit blogger's official website blogger.com, you can see quite cool, it also shows some of its advantages.
1. Choose the perfect design
Create a beautiful blog that fits your style. Choose from a selection of easy-to-use templates – all with flexible layouts and hundreds of background images – or design something new.
2. Get a free domain
Get paid for your hard work. Google AdSense can automatically display relevant targeted ads on your blog so that you can earn income by posting about your passion.
Find out which posts are a hit with Blogger’s built-in analytics. You’ll see where your audience is coming from and what they’re interested in. You can even connect your blog directly to Google Analytics for a more detailed look.
5. Hang onto your memories
Sign in Google account
After logging in, we jumped to the blogger's control panel, which now prompts us that we haven't created any blogs yet. We simply click on the "Create New Blog" button to create a new blog.
Now we will see the following page:
We need to fill in three important pieces of information:
Blog Title
It actually refers to the name of your blog site, and we often see it on Chrome's Tab bar (tab). It can be said to be your brand, you can use your name or your personally easy to remember name, so it is easy for SEO, you can get a good ranking when searching by blog name.
Blog Address
This directly affects your final blog access address, which should be as simple as possible and easy to remember. For example, my name is mattkaydiary. I originally wanted to use mattkay, but it has already been occupied (the blog domain must be unique), so I used mattkaydiary here. Finally, my blog is located at mattkaydiary.blogspot.com.
Select theme template
There are not many requirements here, so you can choose what you like. Later, you can download free blog theme templates from the web. Later I will explain how to install a free blog theme. Remember to bookmark my blog, or subscribe to my blog via email on the right.
Visit your blog
Once you've created your blog, you'll be able to access your blog and share your new blog with your friends!
